Does this send emails automatically?
No — it only creates drafts in your Gmail thread. You review each draft and hit send yourself, so you always stay in control of what goes out.
Which AI models does it use?
GPT-4o handles the triage decision (with zero temperature for consistent JSON output) and GPT-4 Turbo writes the reply drafts. Both can be swapped for cheaper models like GPT-4o-mini in the node settings.
Will it reply to marketing emails?
No. The triage prompt explicitly instructs the model that marketing emails don't require a response, so your inbox noise is filtered before it reaches the drafting stage.
What do I need to set up?
Just two credentials in n8n: a Gmail OAuth2 connection and an OpenAI API key. The whole setup takes about 5 minutes.
